Are there any good Networks Left?

My answer to this ? is YES!! I am a sceptic of many things, so when my weekly television program on Thurs. nights was interrupted I thought, Oh Bother..... this will be a hassle. I had no audio. The program played and had music (background) but no voices. So, what is a consumer to do? I got online and found a contact for that network. Filed a complaint of sorts about what was going on and the next day this is what I received:

From: " Ballard, Will iam R. " To: melissajeffers@bellsouth.netSent: Wednesday, March 11, 2009 4:28:31 PMSubject: FW: Engineering/Technical Issue Comment from CBS42.comMelissa - Thank you for the note. The problem you referenced in your email below is one the entireTelevision industry has to deal with. Without going into all of thedetail, the problem stems from the new digital technology. Thesuppliers of programming & commercials are using old technology whichdoesn't always mesh with our new digital technology. We are working on the problem and hope to have things sorted out in thenext few months. Thanks again for the note and more importantly thanks for watching CBS42.BillBill BallardPresident/General ManagerWIAT Birmingham205-322-4200 ext. 130wballard@wiat.com

And then as my new friends at BTD #20 can relate to it only gets better. I thanked them in a reply email for responding and this is what they sent back:

Melissa-
You are very welcome.
Going forward, if you have any issues with CBS 42, please don’t hesitate to drop me an email.

Have a good day.
Bill

Now if we could get all Networks, Big businesses, Corporations and Developers, Dr.'s offices, Hospitals, CEO's, Churchs (ooppss), and Realtors, etc. to follow suit, we would be a fixed world!! Not really but it would make my blood pressure a little better. Good job CBS42!!
